About
For more than two decades, Daniel A. Lorber has combined legal, financial, and litigation experience to help individuals and families navigate some of the most complex challenges in U.S. immigration law. As both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an attorney, Daniel brings a distinctive perspective that blends analytical precision with strategic legal advocacy, allowing him to develop comprehensive solutions for clients facing high-stakes immigration matters.
Daniel represents clients in a wide range of immigration cases, with particular experience in complex asylum matters, immigration detention, federal habeas corpus litigation, administrative appeals, and constitutional challenges involving immigration law. He has successfully advocated for clients in both administrative proceedings and federal courts, handling cases that require sophisticated legal strategy and a deep understanding of the intersection between immigration law and constitutional protections.
He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. These admissions enable him to represent clients across multiple jurisdictions in complex federal immigration litigation.
Daniel's commitment to immigration law is also deeply personal. His spouse immigrated to the United States from Venezuela, and hearing firsthand about the obstacles and uncertainty involved in that journey reinforced his belief that everyone deserves compassionate, skilled legal representation while pursuing the American dream. That perspective continues to shape the way he approaches every client—with empathy, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to protecting their rights.
Born and raised in New York, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego before receiving his Master of Business Administration from Pace University. He later earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, graduating magna cum laude while serving as an editor of the New York Law School Law Review.
Whether representing clients before USCIS, the immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, or the federal courts, Daniel is dedicated to providing thoughtful, strategic, and results-driven representation. His goal is not only to help clients achieve favorable outcomes, but also to guide them through the immigration process with honesty, clarity, and confidence.
